    Before his untimely passing, John Denver was inventing a new genre featuring pleasant melodies and sentimental lyrics over fast, clicky kicks and distorted 12-string acoustic. The A&R guys called it "Beige Metal".


    All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.
