stevec Them's some really good quality electro-synth-pop. It's got your signature sound, which as always is crystal clear and balanced. One of things I liked best was actually the soft vocal harmonies on the chorus. Wide and spacious, but never overpowering.
thanks so much Steve - I was really pleased with the BV's

I agree with the pet shop boys, or Michael Frank. Remember *popsicle toes?*( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Franks_(musician) ) My college friends said I sounded like a cross between John Lennon and Michael Frank. Wasn't sure if they were trying to compliment me, haha Why does everyone pigeon hole everything. I do it too..not being holier than thou. Just wondering.

daryl1968 Thanks Bats - yeah, weird on the voice - I hear it too - I will go back and look at it.
I THINK... it's just a little bit of proximity effect. you could try the HPF and if you already have it, maybe raise it up a bit.. or try automation on the eq, just where you hear it happen. that would be very transparent
Gonna give it a go this week mate

Leizer Now I know! You sound like the Pet shop boys singer, specially in the darker regions! You should definitely do a PSB cover... Great sounding drums (the intro mmmm...), bass, vocals. Love all background blip blop sounds. Maybe there is one chorus too much. Or perhaps is it because I listened twice. And the usual: mix is perfect.
Thanks Lasse. Appreciate it mate

gtrpastor First of all, I appreciate the lyrics--the depth of love rather than shallow sentimentalism. It's kinda catchy, which is good. Everything seems to sit well in the mix. I particularly like how you did the vocals. I'm not sure what, if any effects, you used on them, but I think they sound great.
One thing that sort of sticks out is the clap sound. It seems like it should be more subtle to my ear. But that might be the cheap speakers I'm using right now. I didn't read the other comments, so if nobody else commented on that you could just ignore it.
All in all a nice song and a nice mix. Thanks for posting.
Thanks a lot gtrpastor. I appreciate the listen

Never heard of Michael Frank - couldn't have been popular in the UK It's funny, I have lived in the US for 10 years and I think the pigeon holing is down to the way radio stations are over here. In the UK, there's only 2 types of music - good and bad.

Another really good mix and well thought out song. The sonic space is really open, every instrument has it place to breath. Levels sound good to my ears as well. Really good work.

I like everything about this song. The words and music are so good that it's like comfort food. I like the reverb on the BG vocals, and the warmth and clarity of the whole production. I'm going to start using you and a few others here as a reference point in my own stuff. Congrats!
