The Morning After - R & B Contemporary style
Hi Everyone, I am posting this song I wrote and recorded to get some feedback on the content of my songwriting along with composing and quality of my mixing. I appreciate any feedback good or bad as this will help me grow in all of these areas. I also shot and edited a music video to go along with this that you can view at the YouTube link below which I also would like to get some feedback on. Thanks for your time and input. Steve, this is terrific music that's very polished and well performed. My feet wouldn't stop moving during both versions which owes to the driving beat. I had a little trouble understanding the vocal in the video, but the Soundclick version was loud and clear. Did you have more modulation on your voice in the video? Either way, this is stellar songwriting and production. Hope to hear more from you.

thanks Lynn .. means a lot coming from other artists. I didn't use any other modulation in the video, I think it just colored it that way on the mix down. I noticed that too but couldn't change it . by the way, I like the sound your getting. rivers in the sky is very emotional and you have a great voice.

Vocal effect sounds a little in the video than the Soundcloud track. Still, a sweet dance track!!

Nice... smooth mix, solid groove, and a catchy chorus. Well done all around. I really liked the guitar solo too - rockin' out over that groove.
