The Night Fox's "FIREBIRD" (LATEST MIX)

Here is the ambient tune that James posted a little bit ago. Some folks were discontent with the synth sounds he put in it. I offered to replace those with some fiddle and guitar parts. Here is a test mix for you all to make  suggestions if you have any.

Very cool Scotty !!!! You did a great job adding violin and lead guitar to my song , our song now SO do I get a personal copy PLEASE .
I did think the volume level on the violin track could be just a tiny bit louder but thats just my opinion .

Can't thank you enough Scotty , I'm sure everyone will like the song even more after you added some great violin and guitar to it .

Your Tops on the violin and guitar , thanks you so much -James

Sweet!  Maybe you need to pull that new Yamaha into this as well Mr. Jean Luc Ponty.

Well done guys, nice song and production.  Love the bass backing.  The guitar sounds right on for this.

    Frank,
Thanks Mang! James laid a nice background for me to destroy.  It was lots of fun too.

    Daryl,
Jean Luc Ponty, eh?    Well, thank you! No need for the Yammy in this one, as James has the synth parts well covered.

    Tim,
Thank you very much! I appreciate your approval as always.

Scottybro and James - that is hot - love it. The middle violin piece is very haunting - beautiful.

Damn! this is mind-blowing. The production levels on here have gone up another few notches since I've been away.

Scotty, your playing is as always mesmerising. Love the electric guitar that comes in around the middle of the track.

    Great work guys.

You guys did a wonderful job on this. Scotty I wish I could take guitar lessons from you.

The only thing I might do to it IF IT WERE ME is I would add a more ambient feeling to the tune. Especially the drums with panning and reverb.I not saying I would wash it in reverb but I would try to make it a little more spacial.

If you listen to my first posted version without Scotty in it you'll notice it has plenty of that Ambient feeling going on in the music I created , as for the drums I like it the way it is .
The violin and the guitar lead covers some of that stuff up that you are suggesting , the lead track I had in it before didn't hide some of the background sounds I created for this tune .
Which version do I like BOTH is my answer , theres nothing better then using real instruments in your music and Scotty proved that in this version he posted .
Anyway thanks for listening and your comments , glad you enjoyed the music we both worked on together .
