The Official "Hello, Sonar" Thread!

Hello, Sonar! Is there an official Hello Sonar thread?

That's right, I'm not leaving, I'm a fan of Sonar! Woohoo! Go Home Team! It gets the job done. Period. When I need a different host, I use what is required. They get the job done, period. They all have their niggles and quirks. But did I say which one is my favorite to use? Sonar! Planning on buying an additional host? What's the big deal? Why the drama? Try not to burn any bridges before you go, and we'll miss you until you get back!

Disclaimer: Any resemblance to the Goodbye, Sonar thread is purely coincidental as a Hello, Sonar thread is the antithesis of a Goodbye, Sonar thread and no offense toward the author or authors of any farewell to Sonar thread is meant or implied. However, to sum it all up in song:

Hello, I must be going,
I cannot stay, I came to say, I must be going.
I use Sonar, just like you are, but I must be going.

I’ll try a new host or two,
Recording the summer thru,
So I am telling you,
I must be going.

When I switch back again,
You'll know where I have been,
I know you'll help me then,

But I must be going.

    Amen Richard :)

Sonar has it's problems like life does, but boy I make a LLLL OOOO TTTT of music with it :)

It works amazingly well (except for when it doesn't lol).

Sounds / acts just like everything else in life. Ups and downs. Ins and Outs. Bugs and bug sprays

PS - Richard, I think you've got a hit on your hands

I'd just like to announce publicly that I, too, am not leaving SONAR. I do not have any significant issues with SONAR and it does everything I need a DAW to do. I know this announcement may cause widespread stress and hand-wringing, but I gotta do what I gotta do.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

    Hello Sonar!

I am new to this forum so I guess this is the place to start!!!!!

I am not new to Sonar or music recording allthough I`ve been a bit on and off.........
My first home studio was two cassette decks and a spring reverb in the eigthies so I`ve been through the evolution
with four-tracks and Atari and now the fantastic Sonar 8.3 PE!!

Hope to post some more soon!
