The Official Procrastination Thread

I am posting this simply as procrastination.

I am an expert at procrastination I must say. It is the one thing I do really really well.

A scientist knows more & more about less & less till he knows everything about nothing, while a philosopher knows less & less about more & more till he knows nothing about everything.

I normally get bored of procrastinating and just get on with what I'm supposed to be doing.. (maybe the reason why not so many posts of late )

Appropriate video - kudos for the person who knows where they nicked the intro idea, more kudos for the person who recognizes the origin of the tune. Gosh, we're so original, these days.

Can anybody tell me what 'procrastination' means?

I was going to get round to looking it up in the dictionary.

Sorry, dementia is cheating. One can only procrastinate, and mean it. Otherwise: where's the fun, the thrill of the momentary sense of guilt*.

I so thought of this thread first, I just didn't get round to it.

I was determined to do one on vacillation too but I thought better of it, although maybe now is the time, perhaps not though.

Well, I must admit, I pulled off an excellent procrastination tonight... contributed nothing meaningful to the universe since I left work in any way, except walk the dog.
