The TrapKAT XL...

I love playing this thing. For drummers who like to play electronics and want to walk in and setup in about the same amount of time as the keyboardist, this is fantastic. It's not for everyone, but I like it. 24 pads, (relatively) quiet for those who need to limit the noise, and it opens up a world of drum samples.

My kids, on the other hand, prefer to play my old Ludwig kit. That's fun, too.

I looked at that Kat XL and luckily, didn't fall into that price trap. It looks like very nice unit though...(if I could only keep time).

When I bought mine, the price was much lower and they accepted bartered items. Best belly button lint I ever spent.

I've always wondered why belly button lint is always blue...

If you discovered you were belly button lint, wouldn't you be blue?
