    This is a PRS "Paul's Guitar"... new this year.  It has newly designed Narrow Field 408 pickups in it, and each can be coil-tapped with the 2 little switches.  It really has it's own unique sound, not a Les Paul or any Fender sound, and not a Gretch or Ric sound either... but kind of a combination of those with a very focused attack.
     
    The color on this one is "Black Gold", and it reminds me of motor oil and molasses poured over gorgeous flamed maple.
     
    I got mine at Sweetwater from their Guitar Galleria, and my brother got one (in Copper color) from Guitar Center's Palatinum Guitar collection.
     
    Apparently, the suppliers are willing to negotiate on guitars lately....we each saved quite a few $$$ by making offers.  So don't pay list price!!
