The PUGTONES break back in with an easy blues instrumental. "AINT GOT THE BLUES"

Howdy y'all!  I've been away for awhile and I don't know why.  I got burnt I guess.  Well Mark's been sending a few tunes and they're all good but this one was just what I needed to shake the cobwebs.  A simple instrumental that feels good.  Got me back to the studio and now we have a couple others brewing too.  I will get back to listening and commenting as I used to do.  I hope you like our tune.  Comments welcomed.  It's nice to be back.  Of course I have to figure how to post on this new format!!!

Frank-  Thanks for listening and the nice comment!  Mark managed to get that harp tone in the mix.  My A harp has a few flat tires so drawing the clean notes was impossible sometimes.  But.... it was fun and got me back thinking music again.  We've got a couple "vintage Pugtones" tunes coming up.  Should be fun.

I really liked this, it has that old timey feel and sound to it. The harp tone is pure vintage, sounds like what I think an old "Green Bullet" would sound like. Nice guitar work, too.

Hey all. I wanted to thank everyone for taking the time to listen and for the comments from each of you. I haven't been around much lately, life has taken over in the last couple of months - so I haven't had much of a chance to hang out here. This is a really important community to me - I've met pe3ople here that I feel really have become friends. And, I've gotten creative input from a lot of you that has really helped me musically.

Anyway, as long as I'm creating new music, I plan to be around here. Thanks again for the time all of you have taken - love you all - God bless.

Long Live The PUGTONES  Woof Woof

Oh Man you guys have no Idea how much I need to hear this
I feel Like an old  Hairy dude that lost his tribe and got stuck in an Elevator Music Hell for the last 5 weeks

The thing that Impresses me the most about this recording is somehow you guys have managed to use the digital medium to produce and capture some very righteous sounding authentic analog sounding classic Blues Grit Tones...

alright what did you guys do ?
did you borrow a time machine ,  go back in time and rob a pawnshop of a bunch of old amps , guitars and mics to achieve this sound ?

love the harp , slide , and just about all the sounds I'm hearing sound very familiar to me ..

    Great Job PUGTONES
