hehe not from the boys They were seen as a "kids band" , at least among the circle of teenagers I hung around with at the time. I still have my old faded demin jacket covered in sew-on patches, somewhere it hopefully will never be found.... (no, there was NOT a BCR patch on it)

My patch jacket from that era had things like Winchester, Remington, and Ford on it. (had a stack of junior marksman patches too) We were in to the Beach Boys, Hendrix, Pink Floyd and the Dead. ;-) Thanks for the link, it's a really enjoyable listen. best regards, mike

I crept into the world when no one was looking a little earlier than 1962. This is why I could be into metal AND still be a loser.

Straummy arrived on 30/5/62, and I don't much care for this heavy metal of which you speak. Oh no.

He got the bit about Glenn Tipton starting Judas Priest entirely wrong. KK and Ian Hill were the only two guys from the original band of that name in the 'classic' line-ups. Straummy, you sad fecker. Yes I know, I will attempt to get a life Have you said "Arse Biscuits" in this thread yet? Yes, but an older brachiosaurus made me say it sir. Honest.
