The Process/Sliding Function

OK, I know how to use the M:B:T (ticks) by just multiplying the beats X the tick resolution, but the seconds, and frames that aren't in whole amts; which hardly EVER happens, aren't so easily managed. So, I had instances of wav file imports where I didn't have them sync'ed up to the beats. But if I can't put decimals in the quantity window for seconds, and frames, honestly, what good is it. I also read that section in the user manual, which doesn't tell you how to use the feature if you have partial amts like 6 sec./19 frames. I mean, do you actually have to use the seconds choice, then turn around and use the frames choice? That would seem AWFULLY silly. Pls Advise, KC

I'm missing something. Why don't you just adjust the M:B:T to change the start time? I don't do video, but certainly second:frames is intended for video. Otherwise, you can zoom in and drag clips a little at a time (make sure Snap To is off) or possibly look into the Nudge feature. Something among those should help.
