The parsed link for hot fix is"
    https://cakewalk.s3.amazonaws.com/support/SONAR/SRX2/Downloads/SONARX2ProducerQuickFix.exe

But you will get a 403 Forbidden - means that Internet Explorer was able to connect to the website, but it does not have permission to view the webpage

    Somethiing hinky going on here.

I've tried downloading with IE9, Chrome, Firefox and Safari. With and without download managers and no can do. All say that the file is not available. I've never had this error before and just for fun I tried and can download other files via Cakewalk download links.

Guess I don't need the quick fix.

I'd say Cakewalk have recognised that there's a problem with the link and made the file temporarily unavailable.

Not working for me either. All I get is the standard Error 404 not found. Does this mean we don't get to d/l it?
    Hopefully I won't need it.

It downloaded fine for me earlier this afternoon (about 2:20pm PDT), using IE9.  I installed the 64-bit version, and the minimal bits of testing I did suggested it does cure the crashing problem I was having when tweaking Pro Channel.  Only time will tell if it is gone forever or I just didn't see the problem in the time I was trying it, but I'm pretty sure the stuff I was doing on the specific project I tested would have crashed the original build within the amount of time I was playing around with it.

I tried to report this using the provided support link only to have it say the internet was broken when I submitted. So... instead I sent a PM to Brian Munos. Hopefully he can get word to the web support people.

I can't get it either - as mudgel says, maybe they found a show-stopper in the fix and pulled it?

Nobody at Cakewalk pulled the QuickFix down. If anyone altered it, it would have been me. Where are you guys getting that link from? Your not suppose to use the direct link like that... it will give the error you're referencing. That article containing the QuickFix notes contains a customized link that should work for you guys. Can you all try that one?

I just tried it in IE, chrome as well as on my tablet and it works perfectly. Its just a link to the amazon servers so if its not working it could be a temporary mirroring issue in your region or an ISP glitch. If it continues to happen let us know which region you are in and someone can follow up with amazon support.

OK, but now my computer is crashing again. Three times already this morning and once during an autosave so I lost 20 minutes of work. Guess I'm going to backoff the quick fix.
