Daniel, The title tells it all - passing an age milestone and still rocking on. And playing it exceedingly well too.

Rockin! You certainly don't "sound" 60 in any way. Everything seems well put together and performed. While a fairly straightforward rocker overall, some of those unison lines gave it a bit of a progressive edge that I really liked.

Absolutely killer guitar mixing. Loved it. The drums are super present. The snare might benefit with maybe a little more high mids added back in. Sounds like you might have low pass filtered that snare down pretty far? I dunno, total picking of nits. Others will like the snare - maybe it's a little too compressed-metal-sounding snare where I might look for something that breathed more. It certainly is punchy, as are the rest of the drums. My main comment would be, vocals up a tad. Nice vocal performance, but I'd like to hear more of it in the mix. Wow, those guitars, just brilliant tones well handled in the mix. cheers, -Tom

Hi Jamesg1213, Biodiode, Mark, SupaReels Music, Daryl, BJZ, Lynn, Bjorn, SteveC, Tom, Bob,
I think I have broken the record of the most belated reply on this forum ... shame on me. My apologies. I've had some pretty stressful weeks keeping my day job and was never in the right headspace for anything else.
Thank you so much for all your kind comments, gentlemen! I just want to let you know how much I appreciate this!
Best regards,
Daniel

Thanks Dan! I'd rather spend more time on the production/recording phase ...it makes mixing easier. Regards, Daniel

Thanks Wayfarer! I'm glad you like the song. You could be right about the vox coming up a bit. I might try a second mix on that.

I love it. It has that 1977 punk/rowdy New Wave touch to it. Lyrics are relevant also. BTW, welcome to the club of old guys. Getting old is not for wimps.
