Cool song.  You managed to capture a very exotic vibe, and your production is good.  Fortunately, you avoided repetition by keeping it short and sweet.  This could be the basis for an interesting vocal song.  Well done.

All the best,
Lynn

That's the mood I was after. I would have added vocals if I left out the guitar hook in the choruses.
Glad you like it and thanks for the feedback.

I like this, It has a Middle-Eastern sound without being clichéd. I have been on the road to Giza, and beyond quite a few times and I can imagine playing this on the car stereo driving around certain parts of Cairo!

I never heard the original version, but this was really good - a "mixed" style I can appreciate.  Love the fretless bass in this context, works well as the lead element.  And the surrounding instrumentation + FX helps to give it a great, almost eerie feel.

I liked the scene setting intro and the track certainly captures the vibe of the title. No issues to my ears, well recorded and mixed.
