The Smallest Measure(video)

Long story but I'll try to move it along...I created a short piece of music a while back and never got around to developing it further so it sat, sad and neglected

Fast forward to recently and I was lucky enough to update both Sonar Producer X2to X3 and Sound Forge Pro 10 to 11...or so I thought! Everything went well with Cakewalk, I have yet to have a problem with their service but not so well with Sony. When I received the shipment from them instead of Sound Forge Pro 11 inside was Vegas Pro 13! I called and they had me send pics of the box and I waited to hear back from them with an RGA#(return goods authorization). To my surprise the next day I received a communication to keep Vegas Pro and my Sound Forge upgrade was being shipped again(which I have since received). Meanwhile my Facebook page had an ad from videoblocks.com for a free trial membership and I'm giving it a shot- 7 days of d/ling any 20 clips each day from their site. I'm probably going to subscribe! Well anyways, here's a first attempt at a "music video" using my original piece of music and clips from videoblocks.com(they give you a full license for anything you d/l even with a trial membership)-

+1 - the music matched up nicely!  I liked when the instruments dropped out leaving just the drums... nice touch.

I feel like a slacker though since I bought Vegas 12 Studio a few months ago and still have yet to install it.  Things like this provide a little inspiration for me.
