The Smart Phone Song

Hi everyone,
It's been about 3 or 4 months since I've had a song to post.Spent the summer and fall rebuilding my back porch.Thankfully
I'm done with that. I do have a new song. It's got that 80's feel to it. Pretty much out of character for my usual stuff but once I started rolling with it I had to keep going. Any comments would be appreciated.
Thanks

Rebel

    Very "CARS" sounding for sure.

Even Dick Tracy would never have imagined what we can do with a phone now days....

Cool tune, for a minute I thought you had used some of the apps on your phone to record it and play the various instruments....

+1, very reminiscent, even the solo. Sounds good though, nice one.

    Echoing The Cars comment.

    Great song!

Notation, the original DAW. Everything else is just rote. We are who we are and no more than another. Humans, you people are crazy.

Thanks everyone for listening.Definitely Cars influenced. It didn't start that way, but sometimes songs turn out completely different than you were planning. It was a lot of fun. Glad you liked it.

    Hi The Rebel,

Fun song.  Like the lead.  Needs some highs for clarity.  Maybe my ears are aging but think about "crisp".
    How about
    3 db 3K
    2 db 7K

Then brick wall and get presence comming forward more.

Great lyrics, performances and arrangement!  :)  I wonder if you could make the vocals stand out a little clearer?

My dad likes to joke about how he couldn't figure out how we could ever have cell phones.  I mean, would everyone have 500 miles of wire that unrolls from the back of their truck?  :)

Makes you wonder what will come next.

Anyway, I may be one of the last ones in the world, but I still have a dumb phone.

Rimshot - thanks for listening and the suggestions.Glad you liked the lead.
Janet - thanks for checking it out.For some reason I struggled with the mix on the vocals.
It's a lot better than it was, but could still use some adjustments.I'm glad you liked the song.My current phone isn't as smart as most - or maybe it's the user..
