    hehe...
well, guitarhacker, these are just little snippets....
you know, to try things out, and i rely on youse guys to point out warts and whatnot, cuz you probably gots better monitors and such than i.........

but honestly, i'm thinking i might record a new section, and tack on the beginning....
add a vocal section, and probably even start it out in acoustic-land....
just an idea i'm playing with....

this was one of those things where i just literally plugged in, and made up something on the spot....
went back and did a bass line with it....
and then threw a solo on top.

all my 'real' gear is at another location right now, for a big project i'm engineering, and so all i had was my little palmer junction, and the analog inputs of my soundcard.....

doesn't seem to matter much what i use anymore, i can find something i like with whatever i'm using......

I agree with Guitarhacker, way too short.

Incredible sound, tight arrangement, balanced mix, couldn't believe it was over that quick.

Was hoping to hear a 20minute bass solo... oh well...

Likin' those drums. IMO, a lot more punch in the kick and snare than the other EZ kit you've been using, from what I remember...

The rhythm guitar sounds good, but could come down just a tad, then bring the whole thing up by whatever's left over.

Really nice. Man, I love the sound of that Boogie head! Great playing and good recording job. The DKFH expansion pack sounds good and is great for your genre.

Great guitar sounds. The mix is very well done.

Although, the song seemed to drag a bit and needs a couple more guitars in it.

Great stuff. Thanks for sharing. Don't be afraid to listen to others stuff here on the forum and provide comments!

Bat, I came across this over at the Carvin forum, and I agree: it's just a teaser. I'd like to see it fleshed out. Very nice DC200, though.

    keith!
ha.. i'll have to demo out the 20 min. bass solo...
see how it draws all the listeners in...............!
    ;)
well, the previous song(s) i posted with the pop/rock kit in EZD, isn't that far removed...
maybe you're thinking of some recent songs i posted that i used ACID drum loops on...

in which case, you're probably correct about that.
but that's the thing i like about the EZD setup..

there's so much room for editing, and tweaking, and tho there's not a TON of kit options, there's enough to work with....
so i'm still tweaking this 'metal' kit, to not sound so metal, and more beefy, and i'm getting there, i think...

    thanks for listening...

    bob O-
thanks man, the boogie, it's a good ole amp, i'll tell you....
i've just really been able to refine the sound of it, with the addition of the Weber Mass lite attenuator, and the Palmer junction box...

    tyacko-
glad you dig it, even with the dragging and lack of guitars.
    LOL
and yes, i listen to the other posts quite a bit, but rarely post reviews... maybe i should?!

    mcourter-
    thanks for listening....
yes, the good ole carvin, is always to be trusted, to give me what i want.
    especially if it's a more high-gain flavor....

    No how-
    edgar winter!!
    hehe
i'm an old fan, for sure, especially of the old derringer and montrose days.....
    thanks for checking it out....

    tcaylor-

3.5, that's the target time now....
    well, 3.5 + 1:02 = 4:32 total...

    yikes.

    Yo batsbrew,

Really hot, but brief, GTR rave-up. The mix is in your face, as it should be.

I echo the previous reference to Winter, only I heard Johnny, as in 'Rock n' Roll Hootchie Koo'.

    Cheers,

    Bert

    thanks for listening!
    modern sound.... blues rock.....
yeah, that's kinda the idea, i guess... it's always tricky trying to find a good comparison for things like this, without the pidgeon-hole or re-direct, but people do like to have some kind of reference, you said it very well.

    bert guy-
    johnny winter....!
don't hear that name very often either!!
    LOL
saw johnny winter play a summer festival at snowbird ski resort 2 summers back..
he looked frail, but played with fire!
hey, thanks for checking it out...
