The Sunday Report...short and oh so sweet...almost!

Hidy chillun.  This weekend has been all work for an upcoming national auto parts convention.  Several pieces needed in different genres with everything AND the kitchen sink thrown at them including group and solo vocals and sound effects galore.  A really good test for ol X1 and I'll have to be honest:  It came through with flyin colors...almost.  Turns out that my snap to grid (and I suspect many of yours) still just changes itself back to "measure" whenever it dern well pleases.  If it's somethin I'm doin just hip me but all afternoon yesterday I would have it set to 16ths as I was workin on some arppegiated parts and all of a sudden everything would quit workin and I'd look up and the ol grid was back at "measure" again.  I honestly do think X1 has a mind of its own.  But it's sharp witted and funny...so I'm startin to like it!

Sunday Report Bonus Tip Of The Day...

For anyone using the new Scuffham "S-Gear" amp emulators (and they are just as good as Aunt Myrtle's banana puddin!!) here's somethin I found while workin with them this weekend:  When you reopen a project which has them inserted in a track you'll need to open and close the gui on each track their on before they'll work.  At least I do.  Everytime.

Rock on.

Well your first problem is that you're working on auto parts with an audio sequencer!

The latest build seemed to solve the snap prob for me. But I also have SONARPlus installed and that does a great job of keeping snap all tidy, not to mention discreet settings for TV and PRV.
