The Ultimate Univibe

I've looked for the "Sound" of machine gun at the filmore since I found out what Hindrix was using. I bought a roger mayer voodoo vibe 25 years ago but it just didn't sound right. I've been looking ever since. I came across trower using a dejavibe 2 and really liked that one but missed the chance to pick a new one up. I also read just recently that Mike Fuller at fulltone redid the dejavibe with the Japanese components closest to the original to recreate that sound with the dejavibe mdv 3. Has anyone here tried it?
