So who has the communal CHB shreddies?  or are they still stuck to the ceiling out of reach?

I still have a perfectly circular 2" section of the rear gusset area which became detached during an experimental stage pyro test.

Bouy, I thought that was the front. Thanks for the extra 1.75" of wiggle room anyway.

Indeed, that would explain the almost complete lack of chafing last time I used them

Actually in response to this extra comfort I'm going to launch a new line.

They will be called "Blonaparte" FOR MEN!

Today I'm feeling a bit down on myself so I have donned a silver pair especially crafted from cheese wire and old hair shirts from the "Peter Andre" range.

They have a built in power bulge...... actually thinking about it, strangely enough I think that's supposed to be at the front.

Yes, silly me, I have them on back to front.  Look away I'm just about to fix that.

And I had to get the fire department to remove me from them in the end.

Lesson learned, always check the label is at the back.

Sez you!

Have you heard The CHB? Each recorded part requires the participating member to wear those undershreddies.

Well maybe not, but it sure makes for juicy  excellent media fodder, no?

The plain truth is, we just like wearing them while recording. Gives us a sense of unity (or so I'm told).

Just to show how words in different parts of the world mean different things, the words 'foundation garment' or just 'foundation' in regards to clothing in the USA has the meaning from a long time ago of a girdle.

Some of us need a girdle.....allegedly...

Literally, although I was being a bit floral with my language in the OP, it just refers to what's underneath the rest, as in a building. As you point out even this side of the pond it is indeed most commonly used to refer to the complex rigging that USS Bapu has to certain ladies resort to in order to look ship shape and confidently set sail in the course of his their daily journey.
