The best way to deal with Belg - FIXED !!! :)

PLEASE do not comment on his posts - all this does is keep them at the top of the forum.
Ignore him - I am sure Cakewalk will find a way of getting rid of him.

I agree. Unfortunately there is nothing else for us as forum users to do, we can't ban him, and I suspect even if banned we're dealing with the kind of character who will simply make another login to continue his offensive and abusive campaign. The fact that he has purchased software whose minimum system requirements are about 10 years on from his computer is obviously lost on him, so there's not much point continuing to point that out. Calling him names or suggesting mental help is not going to get us or him anywhere. So just hope that he gets it out of his system and above all, don't engage! It's frustrating, but it's always a possibility with an open forum.

Yes, Cakewalk will downgrade him to the entry level.
They will give him the latest Pro Tools for free..

Personally, I feel like putting this person in their place, but I have to err to the side of wisdom and agree.  Just ignoring the posts will make them disappear faster and then the cakewalk folks can just outright delete them when they get a chance.

My goodness, just seen this and looked at some of his posts - this person is in serious need of help!
Not having X1 yet (still on 8.5.3) don't visit this part of the forum on a regular basis, but I don't think I've ever seen anything quite so offensive as this.
I think Daryl's suggestion is best and let's just hope he goes away soon - I'm sure they must have some nice padded cells somewhere in Belgium!

If you're trying to build a reputation then don't post on offensive or abusive threads... I know you were joking, so no offense intended, but the point stands. Participating in what's going on there is validating it in a way. It really is best to ignore and let the mods deal with it, which is sadly part of their job.
