    that is so cool.....

with all the cards I get and have.... I'd never run out of picks. Even tossing them to groupies and fans......

oh wait, I don't play live any more......matter of fact I still have picks from well over 30 years ago in my guitar case.

A friend of mine has one of those ... he used a couple of old photo ID's to get picks with his face on it ... very cool.

I think there would be a certain satisfaction using a credit card I had paid off as a guitar pick. Sort of poetic way to cut it up.

I will need thicker credit cards since I use Dunlop JAZZ III picks, but that really is a cool toy!

I opened the credit card statement and then looked at my wife and then again at the huge debt.

Money spent frivolously on dresses, shoes and handbags.

In 1962 I started taking private guitar instructions and
the instructor, Van ( he was a very successful painter and
would paint while giving the lessons) started me with fingerpicks.

In '64-65 a new instructor switched me to a Fender med. 0358
    and I still use them.

I have a few jars that I put picks in. Doesn't matter what kind.
I'll try-out anything but for electric guitar the 0358 delivers.
It's a very small pick and I'm not aware of one smaller unless custom made.

I was saved years ago in a recording studio...I was asked to cover
the acoustic guitar parts during the session and I wasn't prepared ...a keyboardist/producer
had a single layer compartment box filled with a variety of picks.
That is the reason I collect any and every pick that I get my hands on. Not that
    I go looking for them.

Variety is why the "cookie cutter" punch has no value to me.
To me it is much like the electric insect killing lights- they attract insects so it's
best if my neighbors have them....I made good coffee this morning huh?

That doesn't work Ed. You don't pronounce it 'Go', it rhymes with 'loch'.

Hmmm... Maybe I should donate my AARP card offers to the cause. I got one the other day that's like an over sized 3" x 4" with big print on it. How do they know the best way to offend me? ( with the truth )

I once lost my credit card, I mentioned it to the bank a few weeks later and the clerk said

    "Haven't you reported it lost?"
    I said "No not yet"

"Why on earth not?" he asked.

    So I told him.......

"Cos whoever's got it is spending less than the wife usually does"..
