The drunk carpenter next door and Kathie lee and Hoda on the Today Show.

When someone has to have their plumbing fix in the condo complex the whole water system has to be shut off. We don't each have our own shut off valves. 


Last week it was shut off and when it was turned back on I lost water pressure in the shower. 

 There is a carpenter guy in the unit over who is laid off and his wife is the VP of the condo asscoation so he looked at it and set a date to replace the hot and cold shower valve handles and I agreed to pay him 

that was supose to me Monday 

monday was changed to Thursday at 9 

I walked over to go get him at 9am - he answered the door drunk - 

cant do it today - everyone didnt go to work - ( we try to shut off teh water when this happens only when people are at work and there was rain storms and flooding all night)  but thats BS - because we put up signs every where and gave them 24 hours notice that the water would be shut off - who cares if people stayed home from work 

the real reason - - this guy is a lazy drunk - which is why it didnt get done on monday either  - I saw him driving down the street with a friend of his in the car an hour later as I walked Dora 

taking a shower is like standing under a ladder with someone spitting on you - lucky I belong to a health club that has a shower its down the street - I never use it - 20 bucks a month - - well - I been using it now 


so 

I went back in bed after all that  - and was watchinh the Today Show -  

with morbid curiosity I could not shut off teh TV or change the channel at listening to Kathie Lee and Hoda gossip about the latest news - 

its like watching those 2 aunts you only see on the Holidays gossip about everything under the sun - "of the size of congressmans weiner - weener - oh - he's a hard man to like right now - as they sip wine on  a morning show - 

its amazing - in a morbid way 


This thanksgiving - a mere 6 months away I have so much mor eto be thankful for - Drunk laid off  carpenter guy (Jarod)  and - Kathie and Hoda on the Today Show - 

I am so grateful 




oh - -and Bapu 


 

You'd have to take me to your "health" club and let me use he shower.

at least the drunk carpenter figured out where the problem is  he just too drunk all the time to do the work to fix it-- Lew wouldn't have gotten as far as figuring out what the problem is

 Mooch I feel for ya bro..... Especially if you trusted this guy to fix the problem. That was smart thinking to go to the club but still not a good long term solution there at all.

  Possibly when they worked on the water lines they loosened material in the line and it made its way into your shower head. In that case it would not be a pressure problem but an obstruction in the head itself.

I  would hound management until they came out and took care of it.

Good point, and worth looking into as it's an easy fix usually.  It happened to us once here when some stuff from the hot water heater got up into the shower head.

One of my best friends was a drunk carpenter.

Give him a break, woodworking might not be his thing right now but he might be fun to have a beer with.

As for daytime television you could at least be grateful you have the 'off' button.

And as for Bapu...........well.......hmmm.........sorry, I've got nothing.
