I don't get it, youtube (or viacom) has blocked a 30 second clip but they quite happily show 100s of complete south park episodes?
Would it be because all the episodes make money from adverts whereas clips that are posted by users don't?

The South Park episodes are available to stream for free on the South Park website anyway. Lots of stuff on YouTube is there quite legitimately, and yes it generates ad revenue for the company. Whereas user uploads don't.
