Thanks friends. I hope you understand that not everytime we'll be able to answer questions about "the future of...". That doesn't mean we don't read them, nor that we don't get the 'indirect assertion' behind all those questions
Please don't understand the lack of answers as a lack of courtesy.
We can split our knowledge about the future in three parts:
The part in which we don't know the answer, as it has not been extensively discussed, agreed and etched-in-stone yet, or is surrounded with uncertain technical details. Naturally, we can't talk about that part, noteven with our beloved customers.
There's another part that we do know, has been extensively discussed, agreed, etched-in-stone and cleaned of technical blah, but we can't talk about it to avoid our competitors to know what we're doing until it's too late (ha!). We're generally dieing to talk about this part, but still we need to avoid it.
Then there's that third part we can talk about. It has a few millimeters width, but well
But my question remains: How will the next version of Project5 handle installation if I've upgraded to Dimension Pro--will it give me the option of not installing the lighter version of Dimension?
Well, I don't know about this part for sure, but I can guess that if current 2.0 installer allows you not to install Dimension, next version will do it as well
Cheers,
