The guy plays Hendrix...
You guys probably heard of Mahogany Rush... Directly from back home Montreal, here's Frank Marino. Vocals suck, but man, the guitar part. That comes close at times... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPUjWIKAYvU

Been a long, long time since I heard that band..probably mid-'70's radio on Alan Freeman's Saturday Rock Show. Sounding good though.

Kind of funny. I've been gathering all the genres that apply along with countries for all of the artists I need to import into Media Monkey (over 1,500 new ones) and I was just on Frank's when I saw this link. Then, in another forum, someone posted THIS LINK. I guess the Universe is telling me that I should be listening to some Mahogany Rush!

I have no idea why Mahogany just popped up in my head after so many years - it must have been almost 20 years. The only thing I can see is that the remaster of Diary of a Madman was done by George Marino, and I've read those credits last week. The name Marino might have stuck in there for a while, and two days ago my brain must have established that connexion between the name and Mahogany Rush. Or maybe it's the universe, yeah. ;)
