The new A La Carte Business Model

IK started it with the IOS apps that you buy the add ons to , the their AmpliTube Boutique store Now I see Cakewalk will try the waters with the new Sonar Expanded series and the add on to the ProChannel Fx with "more to come" I dont know, it does offer flexibility, but you can get nickled and dimed (well more like dollared and pounded ) to death

Green Acres is the place to be
 I dont twitter, facebook, snapchat, instagram,linkedin,tumble,pinterest,flick, blah blah,lets have an old fashioned conversation!

    I think that ala carte add ons is great... it will be the ebay of programming...  the market will set a clear value and that will be that. Everything will end up in Essentials when the smoke clears.

    However, it seems like the add ons will somehow be tied in or coordinated with basic maintenance updates work and that seems like it can become confusing... or worse.
