The new OK Go video is probably going to go down in history

...as one of the most awesome videos of all time. Superbly choreographed, planned and orchestrated in one of those zero-G training planes. There's just no way they could have done it as well as this with special effects. 6 weeks of experimentation and planning in an IL-76 MDK aircraft, god knows how much vomit. And the end result is perhaps one of the most fun and colorful videos of all time. It's just a pity I don't like their music.

Yes. Well done and pretty amazing. Too bad it is a lame song.

I took the advice up front and watched it with the sound muted so I have no idea what the song was like!

I still prefer the video where they are driving the car through the obstacle course using the car as a mallet to strike random items in time with the music.

Just curious.  What, exactly, makes it a lame song?

The song's not lame at all. Mediocre, perhaps, but not lame.

It's actually quite a catchy tune, but the production is horrible...in my humble old farty opinion.

Ummm.. What were they selling?  You said advertisement...

Edit:  Was really cool watching the "how they did it" vid as well.
Thanks Dave for sharing that one... Now what were they selling again?

That's my feeling about this band, yeah. They're not bad. They're enjoyable enough. If I was at a festival and they came on, I'd probably stick around and watch the set. You know, that kind of level.

But they are off-the-scale brilliant at making videos. I wonder if they ever make them for other acts. That's probably what they'd be best off doing.

I imagine people have seen this before, but I love this one. Lacks the "oh wow zero G" factor of the new one, but I think is actually more impressive. The complexity of the set up is mind boggling.
