Hi,
I like it better with the words "The" and "Band" separated from the rest, with The above and Band below ... it adds to the visibility of the wording, and that is always a really good thing in advertising of any kind.
The colors and logo itself is magnificent and I am trying to print one in color, as I am going to get one of those patch things for my pocket over my heart ... and sew it!
I'll post a picture when done, if I can get the patch made from it!
AND ... now that you changed it again ... the name of each band member on top is very nice ... and a magnificent touch! Keep that and make sure each member has one!
Remember that in advertising "clarity" is always best ... thus, just having "Coffee House" in the line is better than "The Coffee House Band", which makes it cluttered. Look at it from a distance ... now take a couple more steps back ... you can read it better with the larger letters and the offsetting for the "Band" and "The" takes away "dead space" in the picture itself, even for your avatar.
Good art is always clear, and simple. Just having too much white, or the offset white color on the sides totally empty does not make it any more visible ... just shows off the empty space. So, by making the "The" above, and the "Band" below allows you to make the letters slightly bigger for the band name and then you can better utilize the size of the rest of the picture by maning the CHB logo either bigger or smaller as you feel is best.
Dead space in art is usually ... not as good as the space used.
