The only way the CH could be slower is...

if they shut it down for the day.

Where's all the fun we've had in days gone by?

Oh I forgot, in the US it's nearly Tax Day.....

You mean this ... "I know people who own their own business and are incorporated that have never paid a penny in personal taxes because of corp tax loopholes." It's 100% true. There's a difference between personal and corporate taxes, but you know that man, come on. :)

@Bapu: It has been dead around here lately. Probably pick up in the colder months again when we're all stuck inside more. It's amazing that we are a 1/3 of the way through the year already. Ain't it funny how time slips away? :) (Click here for the Lyle Lovett/Al Green version. It is AWESOME!) The entire song is formed around the bass line. This whole album is incredible imo.

    Craig ,

I am up in the the South Sound area if you are looking for work, you can PM me and I will get you my fax# and contact info. I would be happy to put your info up on my board in my office.  I work for about 90 General Contractors and have several large vendors as well, so I frequently get leads on employment.

It may or may not fit your needs,  just trying to help.

Thanks zungle, but that's the problem... I HAVE work (at least 60 hours per week actually), but we're in a startup business so we haven't had any income we can actually use to pay us yet!

I'm the project director for an electrical controls engineering firm in the alternative and reclamation energy field.  Being a new company, we didn't get any credit terms so everything was prepay for our first project and that means we won't get any money for us until the next deposit (around June 1st).  At least we know it's coming.  It "only" took 23 months of hard work without pay to get that first project and it looks like we've got at least two more ready to start within a month or two.   We already know we'll get better terms for the next project so the initial deposit won't have to be all spent on buying equipment.

The bottom line is that the future looks bright, but the last few years have sucked.  There's a very long story behind all of this, but in the last four years financial institutions pretty much raped me for over $650,000 so this is like starting all over again...  As Janis Joplin said "I've been rich and I've been poor.  Rich is better."

Thanks again for the offer though!
