How do I play that?
Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!

1) Pick up your guitar and take a standing position 2) Play and hold an Am chord 3) Do a back flip 4) Do a double back flip Try not to break your neck.

Beep - you left out two steps: * Learn to read music (or at least recognize some chords on a staff) * Learn to play guitar...or piano...or something!

Not true ... the teacher has to be a ... person ... and helpful, not a turkey! I like teachers, not egocentric idiots!

I'm casting you and Bapu as the two characters in my new version of "Waiting for Godot". It would be perfect casting, and you get paid! And you two will have the audience humming, puffing and slobbering before the 1st act is over! You'll be the next Stan and Ollie or Mutt and Jeff ...

Its my understanding that 2/3's of all the chords -of all REM songs- are either Am or Dm. Cheers, Bert
