There's more truth in this post than first hits the eye. If I had a guitar made out of Henry VIII's favourite feasting table would its heritage be apparent to anyone other than the person that owned it? Besides unlike a Spacey guitar this one has cigarette burns....eeewwww

That is a great site for Gilmour fans. I've worked on lots of Fender gear from the 50's and workers always leave something behind.
Most of the old tweed amps will have a piece of masking tape inside the chassis. IF you look closely there will be a name written in pencil. Maria, Lupi and Rosa are all names I've seen in tweed Twin amps. Guitars have their own names, but I've never seen a mans name in an amp.
A customer has a 54 strat with serial number 0013 on the neck plate. We used pics of that and his 55 Deluxe amp on one of his album covers. My only album credits have been that cover art and some technical credits.
But I digress. Sorry, I have to get out more.
