I just want a copy of that theme.

un
I can't say I am addicted to the Theme Editor but its release has caused me to finally download XPlatinum and run it in a sandbox on my laptop so that I may develop a theme which I can actually view without vision blurring eye strain.

I hope that Cakewalk will expand the ability for end users to edit the seemingly locked items so that I may finish my theme design.

Keep it up. It's been my favorite part of the forum.  I haven't tried it yet.  I may go for an 8-bit look just like Live.

Hi Noel, I've logged a couple of feature requests and bug reports for stuff we can't edit, and stuff that theme editor says we can, but can't, some sharing issues

http://forum.cakewalk.com/Missing-elements-from-Theme-Editor-m3466589.aspx
Some elements are hard coded to colours. Please allow the following to be edited via theme editor
Control Panel, Performance meters fixed in dull orange.
Inspector Window (Clip and or Track) Backgrounds?
Inspector Window (Clip and or Track) Text?
Horizontal Slider (Vol, Trim, Pan, etc.) Backgrounds?
Horizontal Slider (Vol, Trim, Pan, etc.) Name Text?

http://forum.cakewalk.com/Theme-Split-items-to-allow-them-to-be-edited-seperatly-m3466590.aspx
Control Menu's Tool bar duration button uses 'Focused Track Text' for the colour.
Punch, Select and loop all use 'Unfocused Track Text' for the colour.

http://forum.cakewalk.com/Theme-Master-Control-Bar-Backgound-Colour-has-no-effect-m3466587.aspx
Within theme editor, you can change 'Master Control Bar Backgound' to another colour, but it remains black.

I also found some other stuff along the way, such as some missing knobs it seems fo the Pro EQ flyout, though I need to look further.

A number of users have suggested a separate area in the forum, for shring themes, sharing resources, discussing issues and how to achieve different things.

This is great feedback - thanks all. I've linked to this thread in a new bug report, and will sort through it all in due course.

Can we have a a Theme editor section. So these issues are in an appropriate place, along wth many other. Theme Editor is a cakewalk product, so the software section isn't right and we don't need more stickies here.

So many resources tips and things to be shared.
