Theme makers

So, I made a theme I kind of like. But then, I went and opened the browser and all the text and, it appears, the icons disappeared.

hmm?

I didn't touch the 'browser' in theme editor. Something overflowed and I can't find it.
Anyone have any ideas.
Here's some pics.
Thanks

I made a theme of similar color and just checked the media browser and nothing is showing. I'm glad you found this because I never use the media browser and would never have known. I don't even get folders.

Thanks Bob. "nothing is showing"? that's even more odd. Or, do you mean it looks like mine?

My guess is the Track View > Unfocused Track Text is set to a color too close to the background used for the browser and time display above the track headers which is also invisible.

My guess is the Track View > Unfocused Track Text

Good find! I have been hoping to change the background color in these areas but learning where the text color comes from has been very helpful in providing a temporary solution for good readability.

I used your suggestion on my theme and it worked just as you guessed.

    Thank you.

Well, I've discovered that if I open the broken theme, close sonar, re-open, the browser is intact.
If I switch to another test (broken) theme, it remains broken, and then switch back to the first theme, it's broken again. Close Sonar, reopen and the theme that was loaded works.
    (At least for now).

I do not think that switching themes effects all the changes one would expect. I think some things load at SONAR's launch and simply switching themes may not change those things afterwards. If you close and relaunch SONAR the full capability of the theme seems to be displayed.

That is my guess, which was formed after seeing, for myself, behavior similar to what you are describing.

This, in fact, has always been the case with Sonar. It's always best to reopen Sonar after any color changes. They used to offer a disclaimer to that effect in Preferences > Colors.

    TIMIDI -
TEXT: Your text is there but too close in color to the BG (as scook said).
ICONS: If you mean the CV Icons, try selecting "Icons" in the Modules drop down menu. You may have it deselected.

Thanks soens . Didn't know about the 'reopen' thing. But, since the text shows after reopen, I don't think the text is colored wrong.
