    yep, apparently this new software didn't stop that problem.  it happened many times in the old forum too.
     
    sadly it did not happen in the original forum which was the best one, IMO.

    Then this rumor that the forum software sucks has much foundation.
     
    I thought that perhaps because of the new restrictions there were no new posts.

    I would assume this happens when the database is queried and times-out.  Which probably happens while backups are running (or the server is being used for Pong  ).
