Well, technically, there HAS to be someone who is the most talented at something (though they probably suck at many other things).

Naturally, there's the other end of the spectrum as well...

Yes, but the great thing about music is that it's about feel when it comes to the playing, and triggering the emotions when it comes to songwriting. Then take into account that one man's Yngwie Malmsteen is another man's Tiny Tim.

Ya, I'm an enigma, drenched in a puzzle, regaled in a riddle, wrapped in a paradox, melted by a mystery and surrounded by a conundrum.

Other than that I'm pretty simple.

I remember that Lennon said that about Ringo.  I don't remember if he was serious or not.  The Beatles in general were very tongue-in-cheek with their answers to the press.  John was particularly good at not giving a serious answer.

Paul was the best everything in the Beatles.
Nobody should be allowed to be that talented - there should be a talent quota threshold

Some people are better at things than other people due to a natural aptitude or ability.  That's Talentism, and it's wrong.

I wouldn't worry too much, in the mid gig break in a pub the other night a guy came up and said it sounded excellent except the singing and guitar could do with a lot of work. I wouldn't mind but I'm a solo singer/guitarist with backing MIDI files. I think it might have been 10Ten though.........

Send up your requests to the stage with $100. Then it is lunchtime or eat, drink, and talk to Mary (oh, be merry ) time.

Almost lunchtime here.  Time to go heckle myself off the stage.  I have to get in there early, or the rest of the crowd in my head will have already started ignoring me.

Getting kicked out of the band when you're a solo artist is a little harsh, but I've gotten used to it.
