Well, you are as consistent as anything when it comes to quality. Sounds great. Loved the back and forth vibe, sorta like dark and light. And the ending was unexpected, and that's saying something.

WTF did I just listen to? Sounds like an experimental metal/rock thing you got going there man, and I dig it. Unpredictable and interesting, totally cool. Drums seemed a little simplistic and dry to my ears. That's about all I could criticize. Nice work.

Lynn Very well done! It shows your versatility. As noted, you always seem to have a way with words. I'll be listening to this from time to time.
thanks lynn.... this story was fairly easy to write the lyric for, it was based on a true story. but can be applied to LOTS of things..... i took my own song out of context, by using it designate life and death in the narrative of this particular album, even tho the original lyric was about a straight up thief bayoubill This reminds me! I have the CD!!
hey!!! that's right!! very cool, bayoubill, thanks for supporting your local musicians! Starise Amazing work Bat! Impressive. You set the standard high for this genre.
thanks starise... what exactly would you CALL this 'genre'? i have people ask me all the time, and i really don't have a clue how to answer, i usually just say 'it's rock and roll.' robert_e_bone WOW! Would you ADOPT me? That is an amazingly well done song. BEAUTIFUL backing vocals and exquisite job of recording the acoustic guitar parts. Bob Bone
heheh, hey now, i've been through all that KID stuff, i aint changin' no more diapers, unless they are my own! LOL thanks bob, appreciate the kind words daryl1968 Very good Bats - the recording/mix quality and performances are excellent as per usual.
thank you daryl, you do a lot of recording and mixing, so you are familiar with the work ethic required.... stevec Well, you are as consistent as anything when it comes to quality. Sounds great. Loved the back and forth vibe, sorta like dark and light. And the ending was unexpected, and that's saying something.
thank you steveC, for listening and commenting.... dark and light, that's exactly the kind of mood swing i was looking for.. it's angry, but then it's introspective... then it gets angry again. LOL kinda the way i guess bitflipper is still feeling after his loss.....

"WTF".......? heheh, void, that made me laugh, thanks man. yes, the drums, i went round and round with those... i tried a dozen different mic setups and approaches, but this was the only one that sounded right to me. i wanted this to have a taste of prog, but also a taste of punk, and the punk said 'simple and dry', and this was the end result.

Excellent! You really created a professional piece here - great performance, production, lyrics, and terrific vocals. I particularly like change ups. They do create the dark and light atmospheres as mentioned above. Excellent!!
