Things are getting better for those of us who like modelers

I still remember when NONE of the modelers sounded close.  Now there's a variety!

I thought you said "models".

Never mind.

In order, then, to discover the limit of deepest tones, it is necessary not only to produce very violent agitations in the air but to give these the form of simple pendular vibrations. - Hermann von Helmholtz, predicting the role of the electric bassist in 1877.

I wish more people liked modellers.
I've had a Line6 amp on Kijiji and Craigslist for over a week now without a single response!

Count your blessings! I've tried selling a few amps I didn't use on Craigslist and Offerup recently... The experience reconciled me with my own mortality. People, man...

I love my Fractal Axe FX II. I was a tube amp snob forever but sold all but one of them once I got into the Fractal.

No kidding!  When I was forced to sell everything I was always running into d-bags offering me $300 for a $3,000 amp or guitar...

The presets on my Line6 suck, but if you create your own it sounds really good.

I also posted an obscure Yamaha bass from the late 60s/early 70s for sale on the same day.  There's very little info about them online, and it sold in 4 days with a dozen offers!
Go figure.

I love my Kemper!

I wish I had access to one when I had my gear.  A few of my amps were custom so it would have been cool to have profiles of those before I had to sell!

Of course, for me, if I have to choose from the below, the answer is obvious:

A. Kemper
B. Helix
C. AX8
D. Bias Head

I'll take "E" (All of the above!)

FWIW, I saw the premiere of the show my wife stars in this week - no amps, all Kemper.

Well... I want a Kemper.

There are loads of (free) profiles of AxeFX and other modellers on the website Craig.

Provided you can mic up a cabinet and play through the modelling software, the Kemper can create a profile.
