if i can maintain my stance as an objective observer, this could be a very interesting development
for one thing when Albion 2 came out with a number of new banks that resumably should have exploited the arp and gate, I though Mr Papen's work was surprsingly lame. It was only when the brok landers banks came out for Albino2 that one had a new feel for what the extended features could do -- and aside from that the brok landers really widened what albino seemed suited for
and incidentally I lobbied very hard along with a handful of iothers to get VirSyn to follow suit and emply Mr Landers to perform the same magical transformation with Tera, but Harry Goh wasn't interested, perhaps due o the economies of scale or perhaps beacuse he's simply interested in proceeeding in his usual way, with his usual team of designers.
Now one of the reasons I picked up Albino2 when i first got into this was because it sounded to me most like what i thought a synthesizer was supposed to sound like. Mr Papen's work was very smooth and professional. For better or worse, those sounds are still great, but sounding a little dated. And given, imho, a weak performance with Albino 2, it will be interesting to hear what he comes up with with a new synth, undoubtedly bulit to his liking.
here are the MP3's the last 3 are by Mr Papen himslef, I believe
