Think you got what it takes?

Are you as tough as you think?

Wanna spend a day getting muddy?

Basically:

Tough Mudder is a 10-12 mile military-style obstacle course designed by British Special Forces to test your all-around strength, stamina, mental grit, and most importantly, teamwork and camaraderie. The event is not a race, it is a challenge, and it is coming to Virginia Beach, VA June 1-2, 2013.Tough Mudder is a 10-12 mile military-style obstacle course designed by British Special Forces to test your all-around strength, stamina, mental grit, and most importantly, teamwork and camaraderie. My wife did a couple of similar events last year. Not nearly as vigorous as this one, but demanding none the less. They are called Dirty Girl Rally's.

Many years ago I "rode" a 25 mile mountain bike race in old rock quarry area with lots of sticky clay.

It rained for 2 days prior. When we started most of us rode about 100 feet and then hoisted our bikes to the shoulder and scrambled the rest of the 25 miles.

When I finally got to the finish line, as the announcer was calling my name, I stopped, bent over, and hurled what ever there was to hurl.

I heard the complete color commentary on the P.A.

There was nothing left to do but limp off and return with a shovel.

    Right on the finish line.

    That was enough for me.

    :-)

    best regards,

Oh yeah!  I love those types of events!
(I can sit and watch those willing to subject to the torture for hours.)

If one of the athletes is a loner, suffering from an earlier debilitating physical and/or psychological trauma at the hands of an evil competitor, and is now partnered with their polar opposite who can't stand them initially, but soon forms an unbreakable bond and the unlikely pair must not only complete the course in record setting time, but also defuse a bomb, rescue a school bus full of kittens, and save the world from oversized spiders, then I'd probably try to stay awake while I watch.

If Dean Cain is in it, then it's sure to be on SyFy and feature unbelievably badly animated monsters.
