Thinking ahead to getting a MIDI foot controller for SONAR X2a...

One of my biggest uses will be, transport and record button controls but right behind that will be 'Undo'. Something I use a LOT .  I know the keyboard command for that takes two keys - Ctrl + Z.  Will I be able to program a SINGLE button on the footswitch to perform this?
