Thinking of buying a VS-100- Effects Question

Hi,
 
I would like to have some reverb in the mix when recording but do not want it on my tacks. Does anyone know when using the mixer effects whether they are printed when recording or only heard in the output mix?

                    I finally found the answer, reverb no, eq/comp yes!
