Thinking of upgrading questions

I'm just learning MC6. I actually have a problem with it in that it doesn't show two of my audio inputs from the KA6. Line inputs 3/4 is what I need but doesn't show up. So I close MC6 and open cubase LE6 and they are there in cubase, so this would seem to indicate that it's not the systems problem...

But thats the stuff that happens to entry level software.

My question is about Producer, I have an upgrade offer to studio and get producer free.
But it's all download...

So I would be a registered producer owner for future upgrades?

I would have everything I would have if I bought the box version?

Very tempting offer, those are my main concerns, thanks for your help.

    Welcome to the forum.
Music Creator is 2 input-only, regardless of the capabilities of your audio interface. It's always been that way, except for Music Creator Pro 24, which allowed 4 inputs.
If that's your only concern with MC 6, I assure you there's nothing wrong with the program. If you want more than 2 inputs, you will need to upgrade to one of the X1 programs or SONAR Home Studio 7, if you can find it. Cakewalk has discontinued SHS 7.

I am selling my MIM Fender Stratocaster HSS, red and black. PM for more details.

Music Creator 2003, MC Pro 24, SONAR Home Studio 6 XL, SONAR  X3e, CbB, Focusrite Saffire, not enough space.
    Everything is better with pie.

    Thanks,

Well it's not that I want more than two inputs, I just want to use the 2 inputs where my keyboard is plugged in to.

    They don't show up.

There's the two S/Pdif and two Mic preamp inputs, so 1-2, 5-6, no 3-4.

    Strange.

But it is there in cubase LE. I think it can only use two inputs at a time also.

But Producer seems like a nice package...
