This Seems To Be Another X1b Bug

I updated my instrument definition file to add new names of patches I created for my synthesizer.  Sonar was closed while doing this.  I started Sonar followed by closing the auto pop-up.  At this point, I have no project open.  I click Edit followed by Preferences...  On the Preferences window, I click Instruments located under MIDI on the left pane.

All my output channels are all defined, but I wanted to re-import the updated definition file.  For MIDI port 1 channel 1, I accidentally click the incorrect synthesizer.  Oh -- no worries.  I will just click Cancel so my changes are not committed.  I click Cancel, the Preferences pop-up closes, I then click Edit followed by Preferences... again.

Guess what?  My change I Canceled is still showing as in effect.

So did you try it again by changing it back to the first one but not saving?

@Fog: not yet. Can you reproduce it? Does it only happen to me?

@A1: I changed it back but clicked OK this time. I guess I could have changed it back and clicked Cancel again, since the Cancel button seems to serve no purpose on that preferences page for me.
