I don't know what the words mean, but the song is well mixed and has a hypnotic groove to it.  Nice!

    Well, the word "ALLAH"
Seems to be featured? as one of the last words heard on the cockpit recorder on 9/11 in New York, Pennsylvania, and DC? I'm not sure what it means either, I'm just pointing out this "fact." I believe it was actually, it was something like Allah who ackbar? You will have a difficult time searching for that combination, but those were the words heard on those flight recorders... Not saying anything for, or against, merely stating facts. If these facts offend anyone? I ask that they study history, and if they are offended by history? Then they shouldn't study history...

Wake up Waltenstein Studios.... The name even sounds Hebrew? Let's all support the Calafate, and pretend we don't know what that is too? "This is Godly song too." For example, Surah 8:12 "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them." Or if you prefer, "so strike them over the necks, and smite over all their fingers and toes.) strike them on their foreheads to tear them apart and over the necks to cut them off, and cut off their limbs, hands and feet."

It's a religion of peace... Just listen to them? They'll tell you so... Again and again before they blow you up, or cut off your head? It's very peaceful...

"O believers! Strike every limb and finger on the hands and feet of your (disbelieving) enemies.''

It's peace and love from the beginning to the end? Just like those boys on 9/11 who said "death to America..." But they meant it in a peaceful and loving way? Misunderstood I'm sure...

**Facts are difficult things? If I was banned for this? I would go to my 72 virgins...  "proudly?" Just like the boys in those planes... Except I think there waiting for them was a bunch of Apple geniuses... Again, "facts are difficult things?"

I am confident that ISNA (http://www.isna.net/) and CAIR (http://www.cair.com/) will be first in line to condemn these comments/FACTS.

Perhaps I would have been more accurate previously to have stated "I don't know EXACTLY what the words mean."  What should have been clear is that in my post I was trying to address the music and avoid a religious discussion.

PS - Wake up?  Heh.  Know who you're talking to Robbie.  I'm a 9/11 survivor, having run for my life from a falling tower on the streets of lower Manhattan that morning (with a bass guitar in my hand).  I'm also a US military veteran.  And a gun owner. :P  But that's all OFF TOPIC here.  Have a nice day. :)

Hi Grup. Is that a 12 string you have there in your avatar? I was listening for a 12 string but what I hear is well mixed and not acoustic guitar. Reminds me of a monk chant . All male voices. Repetitive. One drum. Kind of a collective  meditative march. I am curious what do the lyrics say? If your goal was to make a communal meditation march I'd say you hit this one right on.

I like it. like the others have no idea of the lyrics, but musically it has merit (to me)..
nice groove, good chant..perhaps a little dark?.. perhaps addition of something in the upper registers to bring extra life & presence to it.?

Dervish, Nice song with kind of a dark feel to it, which is hard to understand, based on the lyrics, but nice instrumentation, vocals and the arrangement and mix are good. My only critique is I hope your not offended by personal attacks you may have received. One good thing that we all have in this life is the ability to be forgiving and except things for what they are. Hope things are well in Turkey. My friend Kazim is there now visiting his mother and brother and should be back to the states soon. He is a professor of economics at one of the universities in California.

Dervish, Something I'd like to clear up about your name. You sign your name Grup Gezgin, but in your song lyrics you put Dervish (your name), and so this is confusing for me and most likely for others, as well. So, by which name are we suppose to call you? Is one of those names the name of your band or the name of an album? Just wondering, so we can all get it right when we address you in the forum. Also, you are from Istanbul, Turkey, are you not? I believe you told me on another song, but can't remember for sure.

Here you go, just search for "Taqiyya"

You'll find everything you need to know there? However most won't seek to understand everything, and will be willing participants?  (perhaps unknowing?, however willing none the less.) The vast majority won't even take the time to understand? Which is why it works. You should understand what it is, who practices it? And why... Not saying that is going on here? Merely a self awareness recommendation? Knowledge is power? Be powerful...

"Peace and Blessings... " Please note the following "quote?" (*Peace and blessings...)

When you meet the unbelievers, smite their necks, then when you have made wide slaughter among them, tie fast the bonds, then set them free, either by grace or ransom, until the war lays down its burdens. - 47:4
(different translation: ) When you meet the unbelievers in the battlefield, strike off their heads, and when you have laid them low, bind your captives firmly.
    -----------------------------
    "Peace and blessings?"

This means cut off their heads people? (This is from the book..) "Cut off the heads of those who do not believe the way you do."

It's a direct quote? It's not my words? But I personally believe it is a region of peace... ;-)

Cut off the head of those with whom you disagree??

Peace and blessings.... That makes sense, doesn't it? Someone is "basically trying to cut your head off?" And you are wishing them "Peace and Blessings...." Who do you think wins based on these facts?

Peace and blessings.I'm not sure that was wished against people who where "targeted?" In "the book?" There were people...

Music is an international language in which we can transcend the limits of individual ignorance and embrace the universal concepts of being a human being on this planet.

I really appreciate you sharing your music in what I often sense as being an insular forum, that generally openly welcomes what it knows but seems to fight shy of what it doesn't.  This is a very enriching piece.

I hope you continue to share your music here as the music you feature on your website shows great talent and diversity which will make you a very welcome contributor.

The music is good and the recording great.  Like most "chants"  it gets a bit redundant for me, IMHO.  I understand that this is what the song is.  I appreciate you clarifying the lyrics.  I'm sure you understand that as Americans and anyone on USA soil we are still a bit paranoid and understandably so.  Your group has been posting good music here for a while now.  It is different from our everyday offerings and is a chance to expand our appreciation for different genres.  I think Robby's response was a bit harsh but I can understand his concerns which you handled masterfully and honestly.  Once again, this recording is very full and balanced.

Well, I read every word of every review before I listened to the song - I'm listening right now.

The mix of this song is as good as anything I've heard on this forum - it is beautifully done. I love the vocals - they are really well done on this. Very entertaining piece.

I hope that music can be our common language and that it helps to bring us together.
