This is so awesome - a big thanks to my mate Bapsi :-)
I took delivery of four T-shirts today I'm off to see The Stranglers in March with my mate Al. They're performing a series of gigs to celebrate 40 years since the band was formed. As I last saw them 36 years ago, I thought it would be a nice touch to wear a commemorative garment from that night! I asked my pal Ed if he could print the designs I sent him, and I have to say, he's made a truly wonderful job of them. He made two for me with the designs as shown below, and one each for Al and my lad with just the main graphic on the front. Feckin' marvlious

Hi, I think I'm gonna send Bapu some good money ... I want one for Pink Floyd at the Hollywood Bowl in September 1972 ... one for Tangerine Dream at the Greek Theater (live album with the trees on fire, is where this was right next to the Griffith Observatory) ... let's see ... and the other one, would have to be Yes at the Long Beach Arena, doing Tales from Topographic Oceans. The 3 best concerts in my life! All of them historical in their own way. Of course, I will never get to see the CHB perform, even virtually (wouldn't that be a trip!) ... I wanna do the movie part of the visuals!
As a wise Guy once stated from his holy chapala ... none of the hits, none of the time ... prevents you from becoming just another turkey in the middle of all the other turkeys!

Hmm... "Tales From Topographical Oceans" eh Pedro? I don't believe you've ever mentioned that before. Incidentally did you ever read my reply to when you asked me about sourcing you some records/CDs over here (Goons etc.)?

Too much build up. Won't lay flat on the press.

Maybe you should invest in a 3-D printer to accommodate the undershreddies.

I had no idea the Stranglers were still going. Do they still do "Nice And Sleazy" with naked girls on stage? EDIT: A quick search on YouTube found the offending performance, and now I'm all hot and bothered. Apparently it was just the one time.

Is this the wrong place to say the last time I saw the Stranglers I watched from side stage near the keyboard riser and got a hug from Dave as he left the stage at the end.. (sorry Steve)
