This is what happens when you take the X-box away.
I have a 15 year old son that plays several different instruments. All he cared about was a X-Box. He got in trouble at school, and I sold the X-Box! It's been gone for three months now and he spends his time now developing his talent! He wants to learn to record, and he played this at the spur of the moment last night. I know it's not perfect, he did it in one take and mixed it himself! I'm a proud father! http://soundcloud.com/hardy-wetherington

You have all reason to be proud! (from one father to another) I enjoyed listening to this. The talent is present, the motivation is there, let the journey begin. Greetings from Amsterdam,

I listened and liked. Lots cause to be proud.
StudioCat > I use Windows 10 and Sonar Platinum. I have a touch screen. I make some videos. This one shows how to do a physical loopback on the RME UCX to get many more equalizer nodes.

Thanks for sharing, and all respect to your boy for both his talent and the ability to focus on something new once his favorite toy is gone! I just recently spoke to a teacher, he said that is always telling his boys: just think of what girls like - they don't care for the guy he has a high score at World of Warcraft, girls really like musicians! so your boy is in the right direction in many ways!
