Those little pop-up info windows..?

Those little pop-up info windows..?

A couple quick questions.
You know when you curser’ over a plug’s control I appreciate that its job is to pop up with information.
But like on the Channel Tool for example- I’d be really neat if it didn’t cover up the display of the control you’re adjusting?

Did this happen to get changed in the newer versions or, perhaps any easy way to just turn them off?

    You can turn them off for the main program but I don't think that affects plugins.

    Preferences-->Customization-->Show tool Tips
