Thoughts on table fountains in the studio

I've been thinking of getting a table fountain in the studio lately for when I'm not working and need a little "zen". The problem is that I'm not sure how I feel about introducing a new humidity agent into the room. Thoughts?

I have a similar one here next to me.  It didn't come with a wall wart.  I can't find the right supply for less than I paid for the fountain and I'm stubborn, so it's been dry for quite a while.

What I really wanted was one that I could hear.  This one is too quiet

I doubt it will hurt anything as long as you have ample circulation, but I DO like the one in this picture!

I don't think the moisture would be an issue, but the noise of the water and pump might be when recording things that are mic'd.

The Lava lamp is the way to go.

I'd be running to the bathroom every 5 minutes with that thing in the room.

Simples. Just keep a bucket under your desk.

HTH.

I already do, but that's for when I inadvertently happen across photos of Kim Kardashian's gargantuan cartoon buttocks online.

Bringing your morning cup of coffee into the studio will put more humidity into the air than one of those things. I wouldn't worry about it.

Just keep it far away from expensive electronics, in case somebody tips it over and spills the reservoir.

All else is in doubt, so this is the truth I cling to.

How do you think I'd keep it filled? ;)

I thought as much. Everything is off the floor in here so no worries about that. The 3 year old would be the one to watch.

Hi,

The better zen for me is not hearing that thing ... is "being there", instead of having a typical humanoid replacement for the real thing!

Real or Memorex?

In this case ... fake and not a good replacement ... not even to pee on!

Music is not about notes and chords! My poem is not about the computer or monitor or letters! It's about how I was able to translate it from my insides!
