Beautiful. The acoustic guitar, and the sounds of the synths and percussion do evoke the Native American vibe you were going for.

Wow, then it evolves in a really cool way! This is amazing on all levels Dan. And it breaths really well. So many elements, down to that delay on the electric that comes in and then fades out, and the strings. This is a very complex production, if you listen to it carefully, it's like a layer cake. And the recording is pristine...

But what stands out to me is the writing and the production, "excellent."

I certainly did, this is wonderful stuff. Love how you brought the percussion in and lead up to that great riff, fantastic.

Very nice track indeed, full of ear candy.

Wow, thanks for the kind words! This mix was a bear to do, but I spent 2 weeks just mixing so as not to screw it up. I've really been focusing on that part of the process and I learned a lot on this one.

Production/performance sounds stellar on my end.  Love the verb used on this piece really gives the mix air/space. Nice build-up at  2:05.  GREAT work looking forward to hearing more from you!

Thank you Kev! This song forced me to buy the Lexicon MPX during the Christmas sale. I NEEDED a big reverb for that flute. The other instruments have very little reverb, mostly delays.

    Hi Dan,

    Dean

Not even real guitars. Mine is in the shop, so for the distorted guitars on the left I used a clean Muted Strat sample and ran it through Guitar Rig, like 6 times and stacked the layers together. Then added tape saturation and Sonitus Wah for polish. Really wish I'd had my guitar for that, but I think it worked out okay.
